I greet you in the matchless, marvelous, majestic, mysterious, meaningful and mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth. It is because of his mercy that we share in His grace. It is because of His divine will that I have been chosen as Shepherd/Teacher of The First Calvary Baptist Church Of Rock Hill, South Carolina. I want to first thank God for having selected me as overseer of this of this Body of Baptized Believers. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the First Calvary Baptist Church as Pastor/Teacher. The prospect is more than humans could have fathomed. I am even more grateful for Pastor Emeritus Larkin Lee Hancock for having allowed God to speak to him and to be Wise enough to take heed.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 3:15, “Then I will give you Shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding”. First Calvary you stand on a great foundation and through God’s grace and with your assistance we will blossom to levels unimaginable. God, through His Divine Providence has provided me an opportunity to serve a people who are ready, willing and above capable for the task as assigned.
Tamara, Trey and I look forward to being used as instruments in revitalizing and rebuilding not just First Calvary but the entire Crawford Road Community.
May God Bless us as we endeavor to do His will in serving this community Remember the leadership is only as effective as the follow-ship.
